The 2013 Australian Youth Olympic Festival (AYOF) will be held from January 16 to 20, 2013.

The AYOF is now an established multi-sport event on the youth international sporting calendar. With the IOC’s introduction of the first Youth Olympic Games in Singapore in 2010, the AOC has decided to host the AYOF every four years.

The 2013 OJU Championships will be held in Cairns on April 13 and 14, 2013.

Categories contested will include senior, junior and cadet men and women as well as team events by nation for men and women. World Ranking List points will be awarded in the senior categories.

Please be sure to check the age restriction for the cadet categories as there have been changes to the ages to bring the IJF ages into line with those specified by the IOC.

The 2012 OJU Kata Championships will be held on  November 25th 2012 at Olympic Park in Sydney, Australia. This will preceeded by the 2012 OJU Spring Kata Course being held from November 21st to 24th.

The 4 day Kata Course will be held with the purpose of teaching the Kodokan Standard Kata and will be supported by the Kodokan with 3 sensei from Japan.

Individuals and teams from Member Federations affiliated to the International Judo Federation are cordially invited to participate in the 2012 OJU World Cup will be held in Samoa on November 16 and 17.
